MEET YOUR HOST · SHAYNA VINCENT

Hi, Pretty Girls.
I’ll be your host!

I’ve hosted every EFF and PGWS pageant experience alongside our queens. But today, I’m not standing before you only as a director. I’m here as a teacher, guide, and sister who knows what it feels like to search for worth.

School TeacherFounder & CEOPublished AuthorMinistry Leader

MY TESTIMONY

“Growing up as a plus-size Black girl in predominantly white neighborhoods and spaces, I struggled with depression, anxiety, and believing I was worthy. I sometimes searched for worth in relationships, alcohol, sex, and places that could never tell me who I was in Christ.”

I did not know what a Proverbs 31 woman was until God revealed her to me at age 23. That revelation changed the direction of my life. Now, I help women discover their beauty, identity, and purpose in Christ through faith, honest conversation, sisterhood, service, and beautiful spaces where we can gather.

WHAT I CARRY INTO THIS ROOM

Purpose built
through perseverance.

02Founder of Pretty Girls Who Serve

04Florida A&M University Graduate

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education after a college journey shaped by resilience.

05Hillsborough Community College Alumna

A proud Tampa native whose own educational path became part of her purpose.

06Sigma Gamma Rho Woman

A dedicated member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, carrying leadership, service, and scholarship.

07College-Retention Advocate

08Pageant Host & Queen Mentor

Has guided EFF and PGWS competition experiences alongside national queens and growing sisterhood cohorts.

WHY I’M HERE

This sisterhood does not end when the crown is placed.

My goal is to know you beyond this pageant, help more PGWS chapters rise across the nation, and plant Pretty Girls Who Serve at universities everywhere. More women deserve to know what it means to become a Proverbs 31 woman and find their beauty in Christ.

Eight moments.
One clear road.

WITH PURPOSE

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE

  • Complete Queen Training and participate fully.
  • Save this roadmap and join your sister support group.
  • Write your personal why, platform theme, and three platform points.

THE COMPETITION VIDEO LAB

Tell the story
behind the crown.

Your strongest video will feel like you—not like a commercial. Speak clearly, answer the prompt, and let people understand who your platform is meant to serve.

OFFICIAL 2027 PROMPT
The world has a beauty issue. What lie about beauty, identity, or worth have you had to unlearn, what does God say instead, and how will you use your voice, service, and platform to help another young woman find her pretty in Christ?

There is no required minimum or maximum length. A focused 90 seconds to 3 minutes is a helpful recommendation, not a rule.

A SIMPLE STORY ARC

  1. Introduce her.Your name, university, contestant number, and platform.
  2. Name the issue. What lie or challenge has affected you or the women you want to serve?
  3. Speak the truth. What did you learn, and what does God say instead?
  4. Show the action. What are your three platform points and how will you create change?
  5. Invite the audience.Give supporters one clear reason to join your journey.

VIDEO ATTIRE

Pink. White. Elegance.

Build your look with pink and/or white, then add pearls, rubies, or refined crown-inspired details. Keep the setting clean and let your face and voice remain easy to see and hear.

You are not scored on clothing cost, makeup, professional equipment, or editing budget.

BEFORE YOU POST

  • Record vertically for an Instagram Reel.
  • Face a window or soft light; avoid a bright window behind you.
  • Choose a quiet room and test every word with headphones.
  • Add captions so your message is accessible without sound.
  • Confirm your final post is public and can be shared.
  • Add both organizations as collaborators before publishing.

SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Best Campaign Video Micro-Scholarship

The strongest eligible campaign video will earn special recognition and a micro-scholarship. Give this assignment your very best: answer the official prompt, speak in your real voice, connect the story to your platform, and create something only you could create.

CONFIDENCE & PLATFORM EXPERIENCE

Rooted before
she is crowned.

This guided website experience replaces the confidence slides. Ms. Vincent can move through each mini-lesson, pause for private reflection, invite chat engagement, and still send contestants into Zoom breakout rooms for live practice.

01

FOUNDATION

GUIDED MINI-LESSON

CONFIDENCE & PLATFORM LAB

Confidence has a foundation.

The crown does not create confidence.

01

Know who you are and Whose you are.

02

Know what you believe.

03

Know why your voice matters.

04

Know who you have been called to serve.

You do not need to become another contestant. You need the courage to become more fully yourself.
MS. VINCENT’S CUE

Pause and remind the room that confidence begins in Christ—not appearance, applause, ranking, or a title.

THE PLATFORM POINTS GENERATOR

Turn your why
into a platform.

Answer four honest questions. The generator will shape your answers into a theme, three connected platform points, and eight campaign-week ideas. Use the result as a starting place, then rewrite it in your own voice.

01

YOUR CALLING

Tell the truth before you choose the words.

Your answers stay on this device unless you choose to send the completed draft to your Contestant Studio.

YOUR PLATFORM COVER STORY

Your three points will appear here.

Strong platform points work together: one helps people understand, one gives them tools, and one invites them to act.

THE 140-POINT CHRIST-CENTERED IDEA BANK

Fourteen callings.
One hundred forty ways to serve.

140distinct platform-point starters
IDEA 001Identity in Christ · Psalm 139:14

TEACH THE TRUTH: Identity

Teach girls and college women to receive their worth as God-given instead of approval-based, using Psalm 139:14 as the biblical foundation.

IDEA 002Identity in Christ · Psalm 139:14

START THE CONVERSATION: Identity

Create honest, Christ-centered conversations that name appearance-based worth, comparison, and the pressure to perform and replace silence with truth, compassion, and hope.

IDEA 003Identity in Christ · Psalm 139:14

BUILD A TOOLKIT: Identity

Develop a practical resource toolkit that helps girls and college women take small, repeatable steps to live as women who know they are seen, known, and loved by Christ.

These are Christ-centered starting points—not scripts. Contestants should connect the idea to their lived experience, name the community they will serve, and rewrite the language in their own voice.

THE VOTE RALLY ROOM

Give every vote
a clear goal.

Build your plan around votes—not a dollar amount. Every completed $2.50 voting donation equals one vote after payment verification. Your job is to tell your story, invite support with integrity, and track the votes still needed to reach your personal goal.

SISTER POWER

You are competing beside one another—not against one another.

Lean on your Queen Training group. Share video ideas, practice introductions, help a sister clarify her platform, celebrate strong posts, and remind one another of deadlines. No one should feel like she has to build alone.

“Your sister’s light does not dim yours. Help her shine.”

DONOR RELATIONSHIPS

Honor the person behind every vote.

A donor is more than a number on the leaderboard. Build trust before the gift, protect their information during checkout, and continue the relationship with sincere gratitude afterward.

BEFORE

Invite with purpose.

  • Tell them who you are and what your platform means.
  • Explain what their voting donation supports.
  • Share only the official ballot link.
  • Never pressure, shame, or promise an outcome.
DURING

Protect the donor.

  • Let the donor complete the secure checkout personally.
  • Never collect card information or voting money yourself.
  • Confirm the contestant name and vote quantity before payment.
  • Keep donor names, emails, amounts, and receipts private.
AFTER

Lead with gratitude.

  • Send a personal thank-you as soon as possible.
  • Do not publicly share a donor or amount without permission.
  • Update supporters on your platform and the impact created.
  • Stay connected after campaign week ends.

RECEIPTS & VOTE CONFIRMATION

Every donor should keep the receipt.

A receipt is sent to the email address entered during checkout. Donors should check Spam and Promotions and keep the receipt or transaction number. Esther Funds Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3), and voting donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should retain the receipt for their records.

If a donor needs help confirming whether a vote was received, email nationals@estherfundsinc.org. The Foundation will review the payment record and respond as promptly as possible.

THE LIVE LEADERBOARD

Use it as information—not identity.

The leaderboard updates throughout the competition, but displayed rankings remain provisional until the Foundation verifies eligible payments and final results. Check it to understand momentum, then return to your plan. A temporary position is not a verdict on your worth, platform, or ability to finish well.

01 Check with purpose, not panic.02 Rally your own community; never tear down a sister.03 Keep creating even when the numbers move.04 Trust only verified final results.
