MISS PRETTY GIRLS WHO SERVE 2027
THE NEW BEAUTY ISSUE
OFFICIAL APPLICANT AND CONTESTANT AGREEMENT
External legal review remains recommended. Section 41 explains how later material revisions will be handled, including notice and re-acknowledgment where appropriate or required. This notice does not prevent signing or submitting.
This Applicant and Contestant Agreement (“Agreement”) governs application to and participation in the Miss Pretty Girls Who Serve 2027 scholarship competition, titled The New Beauty Issue (“Competition”).
The Competition is presented by Pretty Girls Who Serve and operated in support of the mission, scholarships, programming, and student-success work of Esther Funds Foundation and any other officially disclosed participating organization.
By submitting an application, electronically signing this Agreement, accepting a contestant position, attending a competition meeting, joining an official communication channel, submitting content, campaigning, receiving votes, or otherwise participating, the applicant or contestant confirms that she has read, understood, and agreed to the applicable provisions below.
1. PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION

- Develop leadership and communication
- Build sisterhood
- Encourage service
- Advocate for college access, belonging, retention, and completion

The Competition is not intended to judge contestants solely or primarily on physical appearance, makeup, body type, hairstyle, skin tone, clothing, financial resources, photography equipment, or conformity to one standard of beauty.

Pretty Girls Who Serve and authorized competition administrators may:
- Review applications
- Assign reviewers
- Score responses
- Verify eligibility
- Request additional information
- Request corrections
- Conduct interviews
- Place applicants on a waitlist
- Accept or decline applicants
- Revoke an acceptance when material information is false or eligibility is not satisfied
If an applicant is not selected, contestant-specific obligations that require active participation will not apply. However, provisions relating to truthful application information, confidentiality, media already voluntarily submitted, data handling, and dispute-related matters may continue where legally applicable.

Contestants are expected to respect:
- Prayer
- Scripture
- Christian teaching
- Faith-based discussions

The organization will not knowingly alter the material meaning of a contestant’s personal story without approval.

The applicant may not claim that she did not agree solely because the Agreement was signed electronically.

- Competition website
- Applicant or contestant portal
- Official calendar
- Written Agreement
- Official policies

Group chats, verbal summaries, training slides, social-media posts, text messages, and reminders may support communication but do not replace the official written sources.

Failure to read an official announcement does not automatically excuse a missed requirement.

Applicants may receive access to an interest group chat after submitting the application.
Accepted contestants may receive access to a private contestant group chat.
Group chats may be used for:
- General updates
- Community
- Encouragement

- Queen Training Participation: 15 points
- Service and Advocacy: 10 points

Scores may be entered by assigned reviewers.
Contestants may view their own scores where enabled.
Internal reviewer identities may remain confidential.
The organization may correct clerical errors, documented scoring errors, duplicate records, or unauthorized entries.
All corrections must be logged.
14. VOTING IS THE PRIMARY FACTOR
Verified voting represents 85% of the final competition score.
Performance points represent 15%.
The final score is calculated as follows:
Weighted Voting Score + Weighted Performance Score = Final Competition Score
The contestant with the highest verified vote total receives a voting score of 100.
Other contestants receive a proportional voting score based on their verified votes relative to the highest verified vote total.
Voting remains the primary factor because voting donations support the scholarship and mission-centered work.
Performance points do not replace fundraising.
15. VOTE PRICE AND OFFICIAL VOTING CHANNEL
Each vote costs $2.50.
Voting must occur through the official Jotform payment form or another officially published payment channel.
Contestants may not:
- Create unauthorized voting forms
- Collect unofficial votes
- Accept money personally and represent it as an official vote
- Alter the official vote price
- Promise refunds
- Transfer votes between contestants
- Misrepresent how donations are used
- Claim donations belong to them
- Create false donor accounts
- Submit fraudulent transactions
Only verified votes processed through approved channels count.
16. VOTE AND PAYMENT STATUS
A submitted voting form does not automatically create verified votes.
Transactions may have statuses including:
- Pending
- Paid
- Verified
- Failed
- Refunded
- Disputed
- Chargeback
- Voided
- Flagged
- Rejected
Only verified votes count toward official totals.
Votes associated with failed, refunded, disputed, charged-back, duplicate, fraudulent, voided, or late transactions may be removed.
Vote totals may increase or decrease as payment statuses are updated.
17. LIVE LEADERBOARD
The Competition intends to provide a live or near-real-time verified leaderboard.
The leaderboard may display:
- Contestant rank
- Contestant name
- Verified votes
- College
- Photograph
- Time remaining
- Round
- Last updated time
Contestants understand:
- The leaderboard is provisional.
- Data may be delayed.
- Pending transactions may not appear.
- Totals may change after payment verification.
- Refunds, disputes, chargebacks, duplicate transactions, fraud findings, and technical corrections may reduce totals.
- Public rankings may be frozen, paused, hidden, or displayed differently during the final portion of voting.
- Final placement is not official until the audit and performance scoring are complete.
The organization may temporarily suspend the leaderboard for maintenance, review, safety, or integrity reasons without suspending voting.
18. COMPETITION ROUNDS
The Competition may use one or more rounds.
Possible rounds include:
- Application Round
- Campaign Video Round
- Queen Training Round
- Service and Advocacy Round
- Preliminary Voting Round
- Final Voting Round
- Final Audit
- Crowning
Rounds may be used for organization without eliminating contestants.
If a round includes advancement or elimination, the applicable rules must be published before that round begins.
The organization may adjust the structure before voting opens when necessary for operational reasons.
Material changes affecting active voting must be disclosed.
19. DONATIONS DO NOT BELONG TO CONTESTANTS
All votes are donations made in support of the Competition, scholarships, programming, operations, outreach, and mission-centered activities of the officially identified organizations.
Contestants are not raising personal income for themselves.
Contestants have no ownership right, possession right, reimbursement right, or personal claim to donations.
A contestant may not:
- Refer to donations as her personal money
- Demand a portion of donations
- Promise donors that money will be returned if she loses
- Withdraw donations
- Redirect donations
- Represent the fundraiser as her personal fundraiser
- Use donor information for unrelated purposes
20. NONREFUNDABLE VOTING AND DONATIONS
Unless otherwise required by law or payment-processor policy, votes and donations are final and nonrefundable.
No refund is owed merely because:
- A contestant does not win
- A contestant withdraws
- A contestant is removed
- A contestant is disqualified
- A donor changes their mind
- A donor misunderstands the leaderboard
- A contestant expected a different result
- A scholarship amount differs from personal expectations
- A contestant failed to read the rules
- A donor intended to support another contestant but selected incorrectly
- A technical delay temporarily affected display
Nothing in this section eliminates legally required refunds or valid fraud remedies.
21. DONOR PRIVACY
Donor information is private.
Contestants are not entitled to:
- Full donor lists
- Donor email addresses
- Donor phone numbers
- Billing information
- Payment information
- Private donor messages

Professional conduct is required before, during, and after the Competition.
24. SERVICE AND ADVOCACY
Contestants may be required to complete a service or advocacy activity.
Activities may be evaluated based on:
- Mission alignment
- Personal involvement
- Thoughtfulness
- Preparation
- Community impact
- Reflection
- College-success connection
- Support for girls or women
Activities will not be judged solely on money spent, audience size, social-media popularity, or access to large organizations.
Contestants must obtain appropriate consent before sharing identifiable photos of minors or vulnerable individuals.
25. PORTAL AND DEADLINE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contestants must:
- Maintain access to their account
- Keep contact information current
- Protect their password
- Review portal announcements
- Review the calendar
- Complete required tasks
- Upload files in approved formats
- Report technical problems promptly
- Avoid sharing private portal resources
Forgotten passwords, unread messages, a changed phone number, or failure to check the portal do not automatically excuse missed deadlines.
The organization may consider documented technical failures reported before or near the deadline.
